Mobbin alternatives for video: where to find launch video and UI motion references
By Yannis Coulibaly · November 8, 2026
The short answer
Mobbin, Refero and Page Flows are the best libraries for static screens and user flows, but none collects launch videos. For motion references, look at Launchscene (launch films broken down scene by scene, free), Scrollsnacks (launch videos in timed sections, Pro for details) or Launch Gallery (a curated feed of launch videos with engagement counts).
Mobbin is where designers go for real app screens. But a launch video, a product demo or an animated landing page needs references that move: timing, transitions, how a screen enters and how long a headline holds. Here is what each library actually contains, checked on their own pages on 8 November 2026.
| What it holds | Launch videos | AI agents (MCP) | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Launchscene | 590+ launch films, scene by scene | Yes | Yes | Free to read |
| Scrollsnacks | 520+ launch videos and ads, in sections | Yes | Yes | Free; Pro $13/mo |
| Launch Gallery | 550+ launch videos with engagement | Yes | Not listed | Free |
| Mobbin | 600,000+ app and web screens, flows | No | Yes, on Pro | Pro $120/yr |
| Refero | 145,000+ screens, 12,000+ flows | No | Yes, paid plans | Team $20/seat/mo |
| Page Flows | 79,000+ screens, recorded user flows | No | Not listed | From $8.25/mo |
For launch videos
Launchscene (that is us) breaks every launch film into scenes: the role of each scene, its techniques, on-screen text, camera, sound and timing, free to read with no account. An MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor search scenes and turn one into frame-numbered timing for a Remotion or HyperFrames build.
Scrollsnacks splits launch videos and ads into timed sections such as hook, problem and CTA. The structure is free; breakdowns, transcripts and filters are on Pro, and it can stitch clips into a reel. We compare the two in detail on Launchscene vs Scrollsnacks.
Launch Gallery is a hand-picked feed of startup and SaaS launch videos from X and YouTube, with view, like and repost counts and new launches added daily. It is the place to see what is getting attention right now, without a breakdown of how each film is built.
For screens and flows
Mobbin has the largest library of real app and web screens, with flows and UI patterns; paid plans include in-app animations and an MCP server. It is unmatched for static UI, including flows behind sign-up walls in finance apps.
Refero covers web and iOS screens and flows with structured metadata on each screen, a Figma plugin and an MCP server on its paid plans: a strong source for an agent designing an interface.
Page Flows records real user flows, onboarding, checkout, cancellation, as annotated screen recordings. It is the closest to video among the screen libraries, but it shows how an app is used, not how it is launched.
For the page around the video
BestSaaSWebDesigns collects SaaS marketing sites with their tech stack and palette, plus a page of launch videos embedded from X, and has a free MCP server. Useful when you design the landing page that will host your film.
Which one to use
Our reading: use Mobbin or Refero to design the screens, Page Flows to see how a flow behaves, and a launch video library to plan the film that presents them. If you want to know how a film is built, scene by scene, and hand that timing to an agent, that is what Launchscene is for. Prices and sizes change: check each site before you pay.
