What Launchscene is

Launchscene is a reference library of product launch videos, broken down scene by scene, published by YC Strategic Ventures (see the legal notice). It helps you study how launches are made. It is not a stock library: we do not license the videos, the music, the fonts or the brand assets you see.

Using the library

• You may browse, search, save and share links to Launchscene pages, and use what you learn for your own work.
• You may not download, re-upload or reuse the third-party videos, music, logos or footage shown here. They belong to their owners, and their source is credited on each page.
• You may not scrape the site, copy the catalog or its annotations in bulk, or use them to build a competing product or train a model, except through the MCP server within its limits.
• Annotations are produced with the help of AI and reviewed over time. They can contain mistakes; tell us and we will fix them.

The MCP server

The MCP server lets your AI agent search and read the catalog. It is in beta: it can change, be limited or stop at any time. Access is personal and for reasonable use: keys must not be shared or resold, and we may slow down automated traffic that harms the service. Scene previews are references; source files are never distributed through the MCP.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account and what is done with it. Keep access to your email and your keys private and tell us if you think they were used by someone else.

Pro subscriptions

• Pro costs €19 a month or €144 a year. The Founder offer costs €79 a year, keeps that price for as long as the subscription runs without interruption, and is limited to the first 200 subscribers. Prices include VAT and are shown before you pay.
• Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; Pro then stays active until the end of the period already paid, and is not refunded pro rata.
• Pro starts as soon as you pay. When subscribing, you ask for it to start right away and acknowledge that you then lose the 14-day withdrawal right that applies to online purchases, as allowed for digital content supplied immediately.
• If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a few days; if it still fails, the account goes back to the free plan.
• We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you by email at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before the change applies. Founder prices do not change.

What you send us

When you submit a video, a correction or feedback, you confirm you are allowed to share it, and you let us use it to improve the catalog. Do not send anything unlawful, misleading or that you do not have the right to share.

Rights holders

If you own a video shown on Launchscene and want it removed, use the content removal page or write to [email protected]. We act promptly on valid requests.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Launchscene available and accurate, but it is provided as is, without guarantee of uninterrupted service or of fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or decisions made based on the catalog. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

We may suspend access in case of abuse or breach of these terms.

Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and account holders will be told of important changes. These terms are governed by French law. If a dispute cannot be solved by writing to [email protected], the courts of Paris have jurisdiction, subject to the rules protecting consumers.
