How these numbers are measured
Measured on the 242 launch videos published in the Launchscene library (77 brands, released between 2016 and 2026). Each video is cut into scenes by cut detection, then an AI model annotates each scene’s role and techniques; 83 of the 242 videos have been checked by a person so far, the others are marked “AI-annotated” on their page. Cuts per minute come from detected cuts, voiceover and tempo from the audio analysis. Medians and quartiles describe this curated library of tech launches, not every video ever made: they are reference points, not a quality standard.
